A Recipe of Success

Come to ponder about it, it is remarkable how certain phrases seem to defy time and live on through the generations to become known as proverbs. These are the words which hold deep truth within them and which are verbally passed on through the generations, like friendly acquaintances that never perish. Though it seems proverbs are ironclad testimonies of truth that can’t even be beaten by time itself, it seems one proverb has met its match. Saturday the 15th, 2012 shall be marked as the day a time-aged proverb was blown to dust. Too many cooks spoil the broth is a proverb that means too many people working on the same task will inevitably make a mess of things. However, the fantastic team of the MUN proved this theory wrong in their Second Training Session. Though there was no cooking involved, it is safe to say that the broth was a success. The recipe? An excellent School Relations team, an expert Training Secretariat, a tablespoon of Public Information, and a dash of Logistics and Operations. Indeed, these teams worked together in adding just the right ingredients and spices to make the day a victory.
